#BlogTour: The Den of Iniquity by Anabelle Bryant @AnabelleBryant @HQDigitalUK @NeverlandBT

Welcome to The Den of Iniquity blog tour, written by Anabelle Bryant and published by HQ Digital. Today I have a review for you to check out so be sure to keep reading!

Welcome to the most notorious address in London…

Beneath the airs and graces of the Ton lies The Underworld – London’s most scandalous gambling hall.

The only thing darker and more debauched that the hall itself? The proprietor, Max Sinclair. As mysterious as the corners of the city he stalks, Max has vowed to take revenge against the men who murdered his mother. And The Underworld attracts London’s darkest characters – the perfect partners in crime.

But when Lady Vivienne Beaumont enters The Underworld, Max’s life becomes more dangerous than he ever thought possible.

Enter a world of lust, lawlessness and obsession with The Den of Iniquity, the first in Anabelle Bryant’s Bastards of London series.

Lady Vivienne Beaumont was brought up by her Mother to be an upper class Lady, not long after her Mother married to get them both an even better life she died leaving Vivienne distraught and entering a year of mourning. She has just come out of mourning and resumes her Mother’s charitable efforts and in doing so comes across Max Sinclair.

Max owns The Underworld, one of the most notorious gambling halls in London. As the bastard of an upper class father he had all the privileges of a good education with none of the ties and so lives life on the edge making good money, living a good life while pushing the envelope between good and bad every day.

When the two meet there is an unmistakable attraction but something more aswell. While Vivienne believes she can ‘fix’ Max, he believes he needs to steer clear to keep her purity intact. As the two fight their instincts their individual situations intrude and threaten to destroy everything.

This was my first Anabelle Bryant book and what a read, I couldn’t put it down and read it in two sittings. It was fast paced, but still had a lot to say with several unexpected twists and turns. I tend to avoid historical romance because I find it a bit formulated and bland but this was anything but. Anabelle Bryant has definitely given my opinion on this genre a bit of a shake up….thank you!

I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series, I always love the premise of a bad boy and I especially love it when the characters don’t give up who they are in the course of the book which I felt Anabelle Bryant pulled off brilliantly!

A huge thanks to Anabelle Bryant and HQ Digital for the eARC of this book in return for my honest review.

It's not easy speaking out about my experiences, some of them are extremely painful, but if I can help even one person then I have succeeded in sharing my story. This is where I talk about my mental health among other things that interest me. I enjoy walking, PlayStation, reading, heavy metal, and spending time with my Niece.

    1. Oh thank you so much. I like romance as it is often a nice break as I read so much heavy fantasy but as I said I don’t normally read historical romance, but this just hit all the right spots for me.
