If you missed my review of the earlier books in this series I’ve linked to them below. Reviews of the rest of the series are to follow, I will keep these as spoiler free as possible but keep in mind if you haven’t read the earlier book(s) that it’s impossible to keep things completely spoiler free!
Aileen Foster, poor, orphaned, musically gifted, never imagined her life could change so much, so fast, but getting a job as interpreter for boyband UK Crush pitched her headfirst into tumult and a glamorous life she never thought she’d have. Now, engaged to band member Theo Shelley, and having survived her audition to Hamilton Conservatory in Manhattan, she’s off to the Bahamas with the boys while they write their new album. Life has never been easy for her, but she’s trying.
Now that Theo has proposed to Tink their bliss seems to have reached new heights. Most of this book is set in the Bahamas, while the band record their album. Don’t think that the whole band being together puts a dampner on the couple’s sexual antics though. Tani Hanes has kept these to romping like a pair of bunnies, I’m sure severe is exhaustion would be on the cards for them both if they were real people!
As always reading the dynamics between the band and the band members and Tink is always really interesting. Hanes keeps the book on the edge of but not quite at reverse harem level. Personally I would love to see that switch but that’s just me! We see Tink get involved with the band musically in this book which is wonderful although I would have loved to see a bit more as I’m certain she had more to give.
Gethin remains my favourite character, he just stands out to me as an all round good guy but he’s also got this grit and gumption that I really like. I really want to see Gethin happy as he doesn’t come across as a happy character and I find that really hard to read.
Teddy is really proving himself as a changed man, he does everything he can to be the man deserving of Tink’s love. He is very insecure and despite his famous status and his relationship he needs a lot of reassurance.
This is the first of the books which has a real cliffhanger in and it left me reeling. It’s a real doozy of a cliffhanger and I was left trying to piece together what on earth happened and how did it happen. Tani Hanes well and truly nailed it.
A huge thanks to Tani Hanes for sending me the eBook copy which I won in a Giveaway and have read and reviewed honestly.
